Access for everyone

Accessibility statement

We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website and understand our work.

Last reviewed: 25 August 2026

Our accessibility aim

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at AA level. This means designing content that is perceivable, operable, understandable and robust.

The website has been built with semantic headings, keyboard-accessible navigation, visible focus styles, descriptive alternative text, responsive layouts, labelled forms and support for reduced-motion preferences.

What you should be able to do

  • Zoom in without text becoming unusable or overlapping.
  • Navigate the main content with a keyboard.
  • Use a skip link to move past repeated navigation.
  • Use the site on a phone, tablet or desktop.
  • Understand links, form fields and submission status without relying on colour alone.

Known limitations

The site has not yet had a formal independent accessibility audit, so we do not claim full WCAG compliance. Policy documents added in future may have accessibility limitations if their original format is not fully accessible. We will review documents before publication and provide an alternative format where reasonably possible.

Feedback and alternative formats

If you find a barrier, need information in a different format or cannot use part of the site, email info@voiceandjusticealliance.co.uk. Tell us the page or document, the problem and the format you need. We will acknowledge your message and work with you on an appropriate response.
